Comfortable stay

Very comfortable and peaceful ambience. The indoor pool was lovely and staff were friendly. Location was excellent. Very easy to get to the centre of Gozo and there is a gorgeous walk by the cliffs.

The bathroom needs updating as it's very old.

The room was located opposite the out door pool, facing the open plain behind the property. Excellent for a winter break. Breakfast was good and ample, with staff always willing to assist with a smile.

A slice of Heaven on earth.

The location is simply amazingly beautiful and so unique. Whoever designed the hotel truly had a great respect for nature having left the iconic carob tree in place and worked around it with such beautiful and well-kept gardens. The cats are so adorable and so loved and healthy. Finally the indoor pool is really a slice of heaven on earth.

The upkeep of the room itself could have been a little better as regards to cleanliness and maintenance. Also being Christmas time a little in-house entertainment would have helped to evoke more of a homely atmosphere.

Very comfortable rooms, spa and pool fantastic - made full use of them

Not enough vegan options and the options available were tasteless so we bought food from a supermarket and ate in our room. We would have preferred to use the restaurant

Better in person, book your stay! :)

Very nice hotel and staff, very accommodating. We had very Comfortable rooms with private balcony. The heated jacuzzi and indoor/outdoor pool is very well heated and makes an excellent alternative on a rainy day, if you don’t want to go out. The large breakfast buffet spread was delicious, varied and you can also eat under the old carob tree. There is also a bus stop conveniently just outside the gates.

Awesome

The rooms are little individual “bungalows” set in a garden area all around. Our room was right on the pool area which was fantastic. This hotel has 2 pool areas 1 for families and another for just adults.... so those who want to stay away from noisy children… can do so. The staff was very nice and ready to help and the food was excellent. Although the hotel was full it was nice and tranquil.

The WiFi was poor and water power in the shower was a little weak.

Perfect getaway to recharge your batteries!

Quiet, picturesque and excellent location to get away from the hectic routine. Our room was situated perfectly in front of the pool area but we still enjoyed our privacy in the terrace. The staff are very helpful and the waiters are very hardworking. Spa facilities are great and since our stay took place in February we had the pool almost to ourselves whilst enjoying perfect weather and clean air.

The person taking care of the cleaning did not leave us any toilet rolls when it was clear we ran out of it and also did not provide small facecloths. Better attention to detail was expected from such a highly rated resort. In addition, the bar menu should clearly display the prices for all items as the Aperol Spritz was not there. Only "Aperol" was listed, which turned out to be a shot, so a spritz ended up costing twice as much. Also aperitifs do not come with small snacks.

A wonderful, relaxing break if a little pricey once food was added in.

The reception staff were superb. Before we even arrived they organised taxis to take us from Malta's Airport to the ferry and to take us from Gozo Ferry to the hotel. They also answered questions about the Gala dinner menu and taxi tours very promptly. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The strawberry daiquiris were amongst the best we had ever tasted, our massages were wonderfully restful, the bread was delicious, the breakfast selection was excellent, the spa was great and it was a quiet and restful hotel during our stay.

Room service options were very limited on NYE and NY day and to order restaurant food via room service on other days you had to ring to ask what was available rather than being able to order from a menu. The room we were in smelled damp and the shower stopped working the first time it was used (but it was fixed within 24 hours). The Island tour (which was very good) was €75 via reception and we'd heard it quoted as €50 elsewhere. We weren't given a tour of the facilities when we arrived.

We had a good stay and would definitely return. We felt very welcomed by the proprietors.

Great location and convenient for harbour. Breakfast well organised and good restaurant facilities.

Bed was too soft, we got back ache. Poor choice of TV and films in room.
